We eat Mediterranean... we get a better relationship with time!
As long as I can write it, I will write it. How much and how important a role does diet us. Unfortunately, in recent years we are abandoning it Mediterranean diet, tending towards more Western-style dietary patterns. As was characteristically written in the "Times" of New York a few years ago, the Greeks are becoming more Western and the Westerners more Greek - more Mediterranean. This fact results in a rapid increase in degenerative diseases, such as cardiovascular diseases and various forms of cancer. Therefore, if we want to age well, it is necessary to return to the Mediterranean diet.
The Mediterranean diet requires:
– We eat daily unrefined cereals and their products (4 small slices of bread or 2 cups of cooked rice or whole wheat pasta), dairy products (2 glasses of milk or 2 small yogurts or 60 g of cheese), vegetables (2-3 portions), fruit (3-4 portions), olive oil.
– We eat fish (at least 2 times), legumes (2-3 times), nuts (1-2 servings), poultry (1-2 times), eggs (2-3 servings), potatoes (5 servings), red meat (1 time), sweets (1 time).
– We drink 1 glass of wine a day.
