Cold, snow and…. protection

You may love the snow, yesterday I showed you what to wear to be stylish but that doesn't mean you should neglect your skin. Here's what you need to do to avoid a problem:

Wear sunscreen. I've been writing to you since the summer that we wear sunscreen ALL THE YEAR! You must know that at higher altitudes the atmosphere absorbs less solar radiation, and that the sun's reflection amounts to 85%! In addition, you should know that the intensity of solar radiation is high even on cloudy winter days! So make sure you always have a sunscreen cream with a high protection index, which you should apply 30 minutes before being exposed to the sun and renew it every 2 hours.
Moisturize your lips. The cold and snow not only affect the skin but also the lips, which become dry and chapped. In the trade you can get special products that soften and heal your lips, returning them to their original state.

Moisturize your skin. Extreme cold dehydrates your skin, causing it to feel tight. Be sure to moisturize it on a daily basis with a water cream selected according to its type. If you want to help restore your skin after being exposed to the cold and/or snow, you can apply a moisturizing face mask 1-2 times a week.

Moisturize your hands. Like skin and lips, your hands also need similar care, since they are one of the most exposed parts of the body. Protect them by wearing gloves and use hand creams that are enriched with moisturizing and healing substances.
