Why do we wear "March"? See how to make your own bracelet

Happy month and happy spring to all of you!!! THE March entered and our minds immediately go to "martaki» that we wore every March 1st as children. According to the custom, from the 1st to the 31st of March, the children and not only wear on their wrist a bracelet, made of twisted white and red thread, the "March" the "MarchThis bracelet, according to tradition, is mainly worn by children in order not to "burn" and to protect themselves from the spring sun. Until recently, a few decades ago, the beautiful women were the ones who didn't tan from the sun (the ones who worked outside, the peasant women who were the poorest tanned). So the March sun was "insidious" and March was the reminder! They take it out at the end of the month, or leave it on the rose bushes (Rosa) when they see the first swallow, so that the birds can take it and build their nest.... March is also believed to ward off mosquitoes and fleas and even ward off disease and other evils.

Although you should have made it by February 28th, it's never too late.

See in the video below how you can easily make your own bracelet-martaki. The instructions we give you are easy and clear. I'm waiting for your photos!
