Basic rules for collecting herbs!

The herbs are collected when the plant is at the appropriate biological stage so that its active ingredients are at their highest possible limit. But this usually varies from plant to plant.

1) The leaves are collected before flowering.
2) The flowering parts during flowering.
3) The fruits during full ripening.
4) The roots when the plant cycle is over

Plants should not never to be uprooted.

Drying: Herbs are dried in a shady place without moisture and well ventilated (20°-30°)

Save: Herbs are preferably stored in a dark glass container with an airtight lid away from moisture and light. (20th – 25th).
